Overview
A conversion of an existing 12,600 SF warehouse and office building in Fremont into a state-of-the-art basketball training facility for children and adolescents. An additional 1,385 SF was added to expand the space for play and training.
Scope
Interior and exterior demolition, structural upgrades, and a new roof. The existing parapet walls were raised from 18 feet to 29 feet to accommodate the height needed for the basketball facility. Site work, an encroachment permit, landscaping, and full interior finishes brought the project from shell to ready-to-play.
Outcome
A purpose-built youth basketball training facility, converted from an aging warehouse into a space designed around the game. The expanded footprint and raised ceiling give the program room to grow.
