Project Details
Overview
A 3,000 SF headquarters renovation for Adeia in San Jose. The scope created a new executive boardroom, breakroom, and bathroom, with finishes pushed past typical corporate office standard.
Scope
The boardroom was built for sound isolation with soundproof walls and doors, plus a sound masking system installed outside the room. Custom woodwork on the ceilings and walls, accent-colored walls, and a sleek black hard lid finished the room. The breakroom received new tile floors, custom base cabinets, and a modern baffled ceiling system. Noise-resistant HVAC was integrated with the baffled ceiling to keep the acoustic standards consistent across the space.
Outcome
A high-end executive floor that matches Adeia's brand standards, with acoustic performance that lets the boardroom function for confidential meetings and the breakroom host larger gatherings without compromising the rest of the office.
