Overview

A 2,627 SF transformation of a former IBM sales office in Oakland into a pediatric dental practice for Alameda Pediatric Dentistry. The Oakland location was a repeat engagement with the practice, building on a relationship that started at their original Alameda office.

Scope

The existing IBM sales office was a massive concrete shell that needed full conversion to support clinical use. The interior was redesigned around pediatric dental operatories and child-friendly support spaces, with new finishes throughout to transform the corporate shell into a welcoming clinical environment for young patients.

Outcome

A state-of-the-art pediatric dental practice serving the Oakland community, built inside what was previously a concrete IBM sales office. The transformation reshaped a space originally built for corporate meetings into one designed around the needs of children and their families.
